I am not the owner of this car. I am listing it for a friend who is down-sizing a car collection. White with red interior. Numbers match drivetrain. 33,000 miles on odometer and believed to be original. Mileage listed as exempt on title due to age of car. Engine code V0518CTD (350 cubic inch, 300 HP). Originally a Florida car and garaged its entire life. Unknown number of prior owners. Bought by this Pa. owner in 2004. Has owners manual, original dealer brochure, radio photo fact diagram booklet. Rare 4 speed with air conditioning (needs recharge). Original Delco AM FM works. NEW: battery, tires, brakes, master cylinder, fuel pump, wiper motor. Carburetor rebuilt. Correct matching trim tag colors (407-red vinyl) and 972 exterior (classic white). Repainted prior to the current owners acquisition. Dash has crack on top (see pic). All gauges work. Console shift plate shows 350-350, but that was installed by owner previously and should be 350-300. White soft top is very good; has plastic rear window. Factory luggage rack. Wiper door and headlamp doors work as they should. Small quarter sized chrome loss on right-rear bumper. This car is not a Barrett Jackson show car, nor is it a 30 footer. It is a very nice car to drive that is stock and not monkeyed with. It was driven a bit, taken care of, garaged, and then stored. It starts right up and chokes at high idle as it should, and kicks off when warmed up a bit as it should. It is a great runner and dependable. Only about 6600 Corvettes were made in '70 due to GM being on strike, so roughly 1/3 were made compared to '69 Corvette productions. Color codes from the trim plate. Built date is F01. 33,783 miles from the odometer. Start at $28,000 with no reserve. July 9, 2015. |
